RC4WD presents: Super Scale Race Series 2016 #1 is complete

Well, I never thought it would come to pass but with help from Krazy Joe of Rude Boyz RC Club in Calgary, Alberta Canada... we got number 1 of 8 complete of our Super Scale race series. It went surprisingly well. The day went quick starting by 10:30 am after getting all the trucks registered and inspected and we finished by just after 12 noon. Very fast. That was a good thing considering today was Mothers day and its best we send these drivers off to give their momma's the proper lovin' they deserve on this special day of theirs.

We had 14 drivers today with one driving 3 hrs to get here. Awesome. This goal Joe and I have of moving the super scale trucks popularity forward in Canada is under way. The European and Asian markets have been doing it for ages and its about time I figure we got out of that North American monster truck mentality and get into the more realistic stuff. I couldn't be happier at the turnout. True, I hoped for a few more participants but I suspect that as the series moves forward we will see that growth. Baby steps. I have to remind myself of this. Considering this was day 1 of this first of its kind RC series concept... I'm pleased as punch as to how it went down!
